How to insert image in a post thread?

Solution
Notice you're having trouble with uploading images on the site. Sorry for the extra work. Here is a little tutorial to help:

1. Go to https://imgur.com/

2. Upload your image by clicking on the New post (green button on the top left hand corner, next to logo).

3. Click Choose Photo/Video then Select your file.

4. Once the image is uploaded, hover the mouse over to the image and you should see a button with 3-dots in it.

5. Click on that and select "Get Share Link" > Under BBCode (Forums) click Copy link

6. Paste that link into our post editor like the following. If you have multiple images, you will be including several links.
7. Cut & Paste that Link into your post

JUST CUT&PASTE! Whatever you do, DO NOT click on insert image and paste it there. You will get an error: "image cannot be inserted from the passed link".
8. The image will NOT display until you hit “post reply”. This will automatically open the image in your post.
9. Click “Edit Post”, you can now resize your image to something reasonable.

Finally got it figured out. The confusion for me is that once I posted the link into the post editor, I expected to see the picture of the chart. Instead, the only thing displayed was the link. Perhaps you should include a step 7 to your instructions. Something like : 7. Once you see the link displayed in the post editor box, click on "Post Reply". This will automatically open the picture of your chart.

Can someone help me with this please?
A fellow trader has been sending me these snapshots of his charts that he trades the /ES and I am trying to figure out his chart set up and his indicators.

yeah, i see you guys circling things on your charts. Looks like marker. Like when you guys post a photo and there is a circle showing them where to go to adjust something. Is it just your Preview photo editor doing that?

BenTen you mention that we should look at tutorial before adding code with pictures to a forum, but could not find the proper item to give me this information could you be so kind as to provide the link, and maybe in the place you state to look at tutorial a link be provided there?

Does anyone know if it is possible to "unsync" drawings? I have a grid of 4 charts and want to put drawings and fibs on one and not have it go on all the others and make a mess? Would appreciate any help on this

I have been trying to post and image, and useThinkScript is telling me an error has occurred, contact the System Administrator.

Thanks for your help,

wayneG
