if you use a BB LINK , like is requested, instead of a link, then it doesn't display the imgur banners above and below the image.

"didn't work" doesn't provide enough information to say where you went astray.

Members having difficulties sometimes get hung up on step#6.
Instead of just cutting and pasting, they tend to click on one of the icons at the top of the post.

You need to just cut&paste. No clicking.

The other place that causes a problem, is after members cut&paste, they expect their image to appear.
The image will not appear until you post reply.

Just my opinion, but imgur images for use on this site are not the best option as it takes you to a different site to view, and the zoom is remains difficult to see. One work around I have used, that I believe many people will have the option to utilize, is to send a direct message to yourself on discord. Sending an image on discord and then using the "open image" url destination works great and allows us to view images directly on this site in full view.

Thank you for your suggestion, but the full view and zoom mode work just fine on here as well.
