@SleepyZ, I notice an addition to the Indicator, showing bubbles on the zig zag pattern from 1-5. is it possible to modify your alerts to show an alert when the price action in wave 5 moves above the high of wave 3 bubble? Code is shown below.

The bullbear numbering/lettering looks like an attempt at EWave, but it is dependent on the chart timeframe settings as to where it starts rather than some starting criteria in the code, making it very unreliable in my opinion. I could not test the following code as the bullbear bubbles would keep changing when I was using ONDEMAND.

Nonetheless, hopefully you may find some use for the alert. Just add it to the end of the code and see if it works.

Someone shared this indicator via a thread on Futures forum. I don't know the original name so I called it the reversal indicator. It uses moving averages, ZigZag pattern, and Fibonacci to generate reversal signals on your chart.

One thing to note is that this indicator will repaint. The Buy and Sell signal will disappear if the candlestick closed above or below the stop loss line. You can use that as a trigger point to cut losses early if that happens.

  • Green = Buy Signal Bars
  • Purple = Neutral
  • Red = Sell Signal Bars

Guys i have been testing this for past 3 days and it works really well on 15min charts... specially on momentum stocks
 
@pm4345 Isn't that primarily what this indicator and entire topic are about...??? Have you reviewed/read all 77 pages to know what all has and hasn't been discussed...??? Chances are good that very little has been left out in 77 pages... If you do your own research it helps us by not having to do it for you, which we shouldn't need to do, and then we can assist others or do our own research and coding...
Lol buddy cool down, if you can point it out to the post where they have mentioned about a scan that will be a great help or just don't reply thats a basic manners i believe...

@pm4345 With some indicators the scan is something simple and we can answer you and say that the scan is in post# x.
This is not one of those indicators. However, if you follow the above directions, you will get a list of the posts that only discuss the scan.

Thanks MerryDay, this helps and of course we are aware on how to search a forum ( after all me being a software developer, i code to design & develop forums from the scratch ;-)) The main intention of the forum is to discuss and respect each other. When someone posts a question then be helpful in redirecting them to the post if there any or just answer what ever the question was.

In particular to this question i know its a complex code, so was the reason i was asking if there is anyone who figured out a scanner with this reversal indicator - answer would be Yes or NO simple. If yes then redirect and if answer is no - then dont reply go busy doing your research. No one asked rad14733 to jump in and disrespect others who are seeking for help.

Ofcourse just reply "No we haven't got any scanner for this" or "Yes there is a possibility" or just ignore the question. No need to be rude when answering a question that's where all the problem started. To your question yes i searched and i didn't find any accurate anwer so is the reason i posted a question. If i missed any thread just redirect me to that thread. So simple why is it being made complex situation here.

@BenTen Hi Ben, hope you are well. Can you please advise how to use the scanner to set alerts on the Trend Reversal study?
For Bull Trend Reversal Scanner on Daily chart, I’m selecting:
Offset (0), Plot (upArrow), Inputs (average), condition (is true), within (1 bars).
With these settings, the scan/alerts are not working. Thanks!
