Ok. Got it. Thank you!Just so I'm being clear here:
If the dot breaks at 9:30 - I suggest that you do NOT enter the trade at all. I'm not saying wait till 9:40 if it breaks at 9:30.
ONLY enter at your will when it breaks at 9:40 EST

I wouldn't call this a course. My goal is zero fluff. I will jump right into my current watchlist, tell you the ThinkorSwim indicator that I'm using, and past trade setups to help you understand my swing trading strategy.
Same here on SPX. Thanks all.Another happy trade on /ES, although it looked a little shaky for a while.
yes I am using it on ES. RTH settings. 10 min heikenashiFor you guys using this with ES, what chart settings are you changing if any?
Probably silly question, but on your chart study are LE and LX labels for long and short signals? SE and SX labels for stop signals?yes I am using it on ES. RTH settings. 10 min heikenashi
to be honest with you i do not see how... when i click insert image it is asking for a link
Thank you, I wrote that question out wrong but yes this is how I interpreted it.LE: long entry
LE: Long exit
SE: Short entry
SX: Short exit
your method is more conservative and I think it is better. That seems to qualify the 9:40 EST trade as a valid trade? It broke down the zero line at 9:30, then 9:40 continued down...but it reversed 9:50. I thought you were saying that anything that makes a break in the first 10 mins of open should not be considered.
1- it was not me who did it.@babouin77 Really like your study. One more question to bug you. When the LE or SE signals appear, do you wait for that bar to close before entering?
ES is futures... spx is the cash index for s&p 500...I am confused between /ES and SPX, can someone please post for both indicators?
yeah u can use it for both but when I use it for ES i have only RTH on it to trade during market hours only to mimic the spxIndicator is same for both? I am trading SPX using /ES chart....
yup! got green!!!Looks like the last short signal @ 1520 EST was the best. Missed this one, but was profitable on the other 2. Hope some of you grabbed it!
