Confirmation Candles Indicator For ThinkorSwim

Hey Chris,

First off, I love this script ! I think you've done a great job here. My question is regarding the numerical values on the columns in watchlist area using the script to create a market scan. I know the CC candles show a value from +ve to -ve and vice versa including colors green/ red and none. I'd like a little more insight as to what those parameters are indicating ? Just to get a little more understanding of what I am or should be on the lookout for.

The watchlist column is actually showing the Confirmation Level. You won't see any negative values since Confirmation Candles only utilize signals of upward price movement. The number that appears are telling you how many studies are in agreement that price is moving upward. As default, I set my Confirmation Factor to 7, meaning that 7 of the indicators must agree before it would be considered an uptrend (green candle on chart if using Confirmation Candles). The watchlist column is actually showing the Confirmation Level. You won't see any negative values since Confirmation Candles only utilize signals of upward price movement. The number that appears are telling you how many studies are in agreement that price is moving upward. As default, I set my Confirmation Factor to 7, meaning that 7 of the indicators must agree before it would be considered an uptrend (green candle on chart if using Confirmation Candles). Hi Christopher84, what TF did u use for MTF Cloud Upper , it is odd. I used it on 10m, the cloud doesnt appear nor on 1h as well.

I use the default setting of day and week. It should still show on that time frame. Do you have your chart set to fit studies?

@Christopher84, some of the cloud timeframe settings don't plot on lower timeframes. I can understand why @VickyVJ isn't getting a cloud. For example, on 5 or 10 min charts, I can get the 15-30 min cloud to display but a 30 min-60 min cloud will not plot. Nor will 1 hour-4 hour cloud plot. These timeframes won't plot on the upper or lower cloud indicators on a 5 or 10 min chart.

Not complaining Just understanding why Vicky may not be getting clouds. On lower timeframes I find that I can only get a couple of them to plot.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention! It has been fixed! I have posted the revised codes on page 1. The same issue was in the code for MTF STARC just incase anyone needs to reload the code. Hopefully that should take care of it. Thanks again!!!
