Basic Question: Studies for Watchlist versus Charts

Forum, I'm sure this is a very basic question. I'm able to code indicators for charts, but for some reason I'm not able to get them working in the Watchlist. I have even copied a "Watchlist" indicator from this forum, but I can't get it recognized when I try to add to the Watchlist. Is there a simple nuance I'm missing?

In general, one idea is to make sure the aggregation period for your custom column is set correctly. I tend to forget about it a lot. Also if you're converting from a chart indicator that uses AddLabel(), that would't apply to a watchlist, so you'd need to use the Plot command instead I believe.

I suggest posting an example of code that isn't working, so hopefully someone might spot what the problem is.
