The Use The News widget allows you to follow the news that most affects your trading.

To find Use The News.
1. Click on the + sign
2. click on Use The News.
3. click on the price tag to customize the news, you want to see.

For me, Analyst Ratings Changes, have a huge effect on my trading.
I also follow Earnings during earnings season.
and pre-market movers before the start of the trading day

The news results return many non-stocks such as ETFs or stocks which I am not interested in.
Which is why, I customize the results with a watchlist column to sort my interests to the top.

What ever is your favorite watchlist script will work for you.

In reported earnings today, there were 49 entries. But only a few that I follow. Using a watchlist column, to sort what your interests to the top; is key to optimizes this widget.

My 2-c, I could not find way to add criteria (scanner) to limit (filter) the output (e.g., by Volume, Price, etc.)
or... feed through scanner as input ?

The ToS platform does not provide the ability for any of the news widgets to interact with the Scan Hacker
This is the reason, I recommend a watchlist of your "Volume, Price, etc." be added. It will allow you to sort on your criteria.

Thank you for your prompt reply. Per my understanding, the watchlist should be maintained separately from the News widget. It was confusing at first, why there is no way to save/generate watchlist from the News widget output.

Yes, that would be a great upgrade.

The simple upgrade that would make life easier for me:
Fix the symbol lists in the Use The News widget to be interactive.
It is not possible to click on them to see the stock on my corresponding charts
Each equity on the list has to be then manually typed into my charts.
