Should Higher or Lower Timeframe Take Priority?

Trying to use squeezes for breakout trades.

Take TTM_Squeeze for example.
Need to figure out, say if on lower TF, say 1m it shows short squeeze is forming and on higher, say 5m it's not, which should be taking priority?

In my experience, squeezes on low timeframes are unreliable. Personally, I don't pay much attention to them.

Unless I'm doing a counter trend play, I aim to trade instruments where the lower time frame is in alignment with the higher. For example, lower timeframe trending higher and the higher also trending higher. If not in agreement, I look for something else to trade or give myself the day off.

A squeeze on a 4 hour and hourly chart would get me interested in watching for a breakout/breakdown on a 5 min chart. But a squeeze on the 5 min chart itself is just as likely to be noise as it is to herald a big move, in my experience anyway.

@Trader Raider I have found, like you, that squeezes on lower timeframes can be unreliable - at times... When in doubt I check the squeeze on a 30m Chart or higher... That being said, I do monitor squeezes on 5m Charts for scalping purposes...

Point well taken, @rad14733. If something is super liquid, I might take mild interest, but I'm once bitten twice shy on those short time frame squeezes. My main squeeze lives on higher timeframes
