Herein lies all our discussions, rants, and questions about float. Despite the endless ways of presenting float queries, the bottom line is: On the TOS platform, float is not data that is made available to us in charts, watchlists, or to customize in any columns in any submodule.

Hello everyone. New member here, first I like to thank BenTen and all the other members who help out people like me, its hard to find online community like this these days.

I need help with custom columns on the watchlist:
1) I want to be able to see the number of "share float" of a stock (not the share outstanding) TOS only shows share outstanding by default
2) and short % of the float.
if possible it would be nice to have the % of the float next to the numbers or separate column, please see link below for picture reference.

Other than possibly inputing the data manually there is no other way as thinkorswim does not provide such data within the platform.

@Vorlauf - someone can be massively long or short and skirt reporting requirements by breaking up their positions at various brokers, as we now know due to Archegos

I would like to see the float of a stock.

The closest to that I've found is there's a Shares column you can add to your watchlist and scan results but that doesn't match what finviz shows for float. It doesn't match any of the fields finviz has but it's in the same neighborhood as Shs Outstand on the two stocks I looked at.

@Cribbage To the best of my knowledge we cannot extrapolate that data for use within Thinkscript for Studies but shares can be used in Scans...

I would like to know if it's possible to scan "Float Short" Stocks, like this one from FinViz:

Was wondering if think or swim offers a scan capability for finding stocks with the highest float short % ?
If not - what platforms can you search to find these stocks? I know I can look on yahoo finance and get this data, but only by searching the ticker.
What if I wanted to search all stocks for the highest?
