RE: on script, how to know if loaded data is actually used on the chart or to specify how many days data will be used?
I am trying to test my strategy on different cases. I find sometimes TOS loads a little more data and sometimes loads a little less data. For example, if I specify 10 D 10m, my script shows the TOS loaded 11 days of data, but on the chart, there are 10 days of drawings. If I specify 180 D 10m, my script shows the TOS loaded 178 days of data, all data are displayed on the chart. It seems that the TOS always loads a little more if you ask for less than 100 days of data. The difference varies, sometimes 1 day more, sometimes 5 days more.
What I am asking is is there a way to tell if the data is actually used by the chart, or is there a way to specify how many days data will be used in my script? I want my testing consistent with the same amount of day's data for different timeframe cases.
