chart setting to compare SPY and custom study

i want to compare the SPY and my own custom study on the same chart. the SPY is on the 400s price range and my custom study does the calculation between two symbols and the result is in the 20's range. the SPY shows all the way to the top and my study doesn't even show.

if you add the "Comparison" study with the VIX for example, both show on the chart: SPY and VIX (below 20s range). but i cannot make my study to show along the SPY.

i wonder if anyone knows how to set it up. thank you

nevermind. i figured it out. in case anybody comes across the same thing, here's what i did: i clicked on enable left axis on the main chart, then also on the study itself. that was it. something so simple but got me stuck for hours
