Working with a laptop

On my home PC I have three 27in screens, each with multiple grids to show combinations of indicators. All cursors are locked together to enable time frame comparisons.

I will be traveling for three months and will have to make do with my laptop.

Is there any way to label each screen of the grid so make recognition easier.

also any tips and tricks for using laptops.

Thanks in advance.Tony

1. I open up my whole workspace.
2. Eliminate everything except Screen 1; which I then save as workspace Screen1

Open up the whole workspace again and do the same with Screen2 and Screen3.

Have to tell you though, I have found when working on my laptop. My laptop workspace is generally an amalgamation of my 4 desktop screens. I have the essentials always open and I stack my various charts behind it other. Using the grid system.

Then save the workspace and call it LAPTOP.

FYI, You need to send the names of the workspaces to your laptop.
They are only saved in your desktop file. They are not saved to the TDA servers.

Yes, I am familiar with saving configurations and moving them to my laptop. I often work from hotel rooms. There I use my ” Lasuney” adaptor, it has a USBC input and has 2 HDMI output ports. I then use the hotel TV screen.

However, this time I will be 130 days on a cruise ship and the TV does not have external input. Any general tips about working from a laptop alone would be welcome.

This will be a bit difficult since you will be dealing with limited space on your screen.

When working on my laptop, I primarily focus on my main setup, which only involves 1-2 charts.
