Volume Profile Value area color change if X happens

Hello Folks.....
If x or y happens, I would like the 'value area' of the volume profile to red (if x happens) or green (if y happens) ! Its easy enough to change the color of the value area high and low, but I'm referring to the area between which is named the value area.

Looking through the code I see where you can adjust the opacity (lighter or darker) of the value area but is it possible to actually change the color as mentioned in the opening question ?

Thanks

Regrettably, we cannot use dynamic code in the portion of volumeprofile that controls color (vol.show());

A workaround would be to set input showValueArea = no; and add the following addcloud code to the bottom of the script as shown in the full code below...

You could use createcolor() to use rgb colors that may work better than color code. Neither has transparency settings.

Cloud code
Code:
def va_cloud = if close > POC then 1 else 0;
def na = Double.NaN;
AddCloud( if va_cloud == 1 then VAHigh else VALow, if va_cloud == 1 then VALow else VAHigh, Color.LIGHT_GREEN, Color.LIGHT_RED);
