Time and Sales Indicator for ThinkorSwim

I am trying to find out if there’s a way to create an alert for when a large, (let’s say +$200,000) , short-term option order comes through on the Time and Sales screen. I’ve realized these types of orders are often a reliable precursor to a significant move. I currently just have the filter to only show orders for the closest expiry contract, and above 100 qty.

Recently I’ve seen this hope accurate with DIS, SHOP, HD, just to name a few. I contacted the ToS help desk, and they were not able to provide and solutions, which leads me to believe this may have to be done through a 3rd application...?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello I am new to posting here and have a year or more of personal trading. I would like to know if it makes a difference if short sellers are doing more selling than regular sellers who want to execute there positions for profit as prices go up. vs. Short sellers who profit when prices go down? If so, how do you see them on "time and sales" and "level 2"?

There is no way to differentiate short selling from regular selling just by looking at L2 and tape. Sometimes when a stock is on SSR restriction and starts breaking down, you will see stacked walls of sellers on the offers (ask) and then you can assume those are most likely short sellers wanting to get filled because they can´t hit the bids due to SSR.

I've been trying to capture time and sales data for a while and haven't figured it out. These two appear to count the number of upticks and downticks but I haven't been able to convert it to upvolume and downvolume. When the difference between these two is divergent from the price direction I'm guessing it means there is institutional involvement against the trend. Am I way off base?

I'm wondering (this was possible in qcharts addons back in the day) to have the rate of trades in time and sales turned into, say, a change in pitch or volume or audible ticks, anything to make it come alive audibly.

Thinkscript does not provide us any means of modifying or being interactive with the platform-controlled elements or any ThinkOrSwim modules.

I'm going to GUESS that having a Tick chart setting to 1 tick, with volume would work, however you probably need an AWS cluster to enable TOS to process the chart. Has anyone tried this hack?
