My 2 cents is everything is getting repriced to accommodate higher rates so a bounce to former highs will be impossible for some tickers. Zombies will be one of the categories to avoid like the plague!!!

an operational business that earns just enough revenue to cover basic operating costs and pay the interest on its debts, but not enough to reduce its overall debt principal or fund future growth. There are many that cant even cover operating cost so they will dilute stockholders into dust if rates go higher and hold.

GNRC DNA Post — Re‑Evaluating the Thesis

@merryDay dropped a great summary on Stock DNA, and as usual it kicked off another round of tinkering on my end. I’ve been building a chart‑based DNA engine (since Schwab gives us almost no fundamental data). It’s still in testing, but the outputs have already changed my stance on GNRC.

Weekly DNA

Regime Shift: Algo Core → Distribution [Bearish Downgrade] The macro structure broke. Institutions are unwinding, not accumulating. This is the long‑term anchor.

Daily DNA (image)

Distribution + Extended From VWAP → Mean‑Reversion Risk Daily confirms weekly: GNRC is stretched enough to bounce, but still in a distribution regime. Bounce ≠ reversal.

30‑Minute DNA (image)

Algo Sweep → Counter‑Trend Execution Intraday sweeps are execution flow, not accumulation. They create tradable swings, not trend changes.

Summary

GNRC can bounce, but it’s not reversing. The swing up is temporary, driven by intraday execution inside a macro unwind. The long‑term thesis should wait until weekly DNA flips — not just a price bottom, but a structural regime change.
