The ideal number of stocks to scan

Hello,

When running the scanner with a code, what is the ideal number of stocks to filter without encountering problems? I've noticed that some prominent rising stocks meet the criteria but initially don't appear on the watchlist. However, after reloading the watchlist, they do appear.

The Stock Hacker Scan is 3-5min delayed.
Yes, sometimes reloading the watchlist will manually update it.

you mentioned once to rename the watchlist and re run...typically how many times do you do that

I am not a scalper, so the delay does not affect me, so I am never attempting to manually force an update of my watchlists.

Sometimes these manual manipulations of your watchlists will force your list to update.
But really if you are scalping, you are pushing a rock uphill in attempting to use scanners profitably; the lag will kill you.

Keep In Mind:
If you make a change to your scan hacker filters. It pays to give a new name to the scan hacker/watchlist results as it can take up to a day for the TDA servers to be updated with your changes otherwise.
