The 1-1-1 candle combination is a three-candle pattern that involves a large candle with high volume that moves down, followed by a smaller candle with lower volume that moves in the opposite direction, and finally another large candle that breaks the high of that second candle. This pattern can also occur in an uptrend, with the first large candle moving up, the smaller candle reversing the trend, and the final large candle breaking the high of the second smaller candle.

where did you read about this 111?
are there more rules, specs?
..large, smaller, lower, high,... are all subjective. were any real numbers/percentages mentioned?

yes, that study could be modified, to do what you want.
it is just a matter of writing down the rules and creating formulas for them.
but there are other studies that do this, so i'm not going to create another one.

the searching on this site is useless, because it uses OR. it finds results with any 1 of the words, not all of them. and worse, it ignores short words.
i go to google , which will do an AND search, looking for all of the search words.

this pattern probably has many names. i know it as a 3 bar play.

use google to search the site
google.com usethinkscript 3 bar play

take a look at these and see if they are close enough

other studies that are similar

John L Person wrote a book about pivots and candlesticks that identifies similar patterns for entry, if you want another view of this type of candle pattern concept. I got his book from the local library. Glad I did, as it had some interesting concepts, but wasn’t “own the book” worthy.
