Set ThinkOrSwim App To Open To Your Setup

@useThinkScript - newbie question, once i have imported a shared grid of setup, how do I save it to make it a default setup when I start ToS or do I need to import the link every time I start ToS? Thank you in advance...

First: create your perfect setup.
Arrange your grids, charts, watchlists, and various widgets.

1. click on the uppermost gear on the right-side of your chart
2. click on Application Settings
3. click on Startup
3. click on Last used
4. click save

When the ToS app opens, it will default to the format of the ToS app at time of close.


What if you want to save several setups?
Backup your various favorite setups. So you never fear losing them.

Create your screens with the grids, charts, watchlists, widgets that you want to incorporate.

1. click on the uppermost gear on the right-side of your chart
2. click on Save Workspace as...
3. name your setup
4. save

Your whole workspace will be saved.
To recall a saved workspace
1. click on the uppermost gear on the right-side of your chart
2. click on the name of the workspace you want to load.

PS: workspaces are personal backups.
While you can "share" workspaces across your own devices, sharing them with other users is not supported. This is because workspaces reference whatever custom names YOU have given custom scripts, charts, grids, and watchlists. Those custom names are uniquely linked to your account.
Consequently, these references would not function if shared with other users; as they do not have access to your account.

Thank you @useThinkScript , i think I got it. I found the Studies under "User Defined Studies" . Sorry, my question was not accurate...
On a side note, I noticed that i was able to import another persons Workspace.. TDTO was a workspace that i pulled in, which seemed to work. maybe just luck..

Sadly no. Workspaces that utilize CUSTOM scripts cannot be shared; as the links to those custom scripts only exist in that member's library.

Yes, if a workspace contains ONLY ToS scripts which exist on ToS servers. They can be shared.
