Put daily EMA on Hourly

I would like to plot the Daily 8 ema on the hourly chart i know I can do it with a study. But i want to calculate it to actually put in in hourly time . Any help would be appreciated

i don't understand the question.
i think you are complicating things.
a study would calculate the average.
how are you going to calculate a number without a study?
what does 'put in hourly time' mean?
a formula could use 2nd aggregation to calculate the value for the day average, and that number will be assigned to the variable, for all the bars of that day.

I want to know what would the 8 ema D be converted to hourly time since I cant do a scan for when the hourly chart crosses the 8 ema on the daily if i convert it to be a moving average on the hourly I will be able to do a scan then . I hope I explained it better .....sorry

Ive been using your inverterted ema and enjoy it! Thank you! I was wondering if there is a way to plot and invert the DailySMA from thinkorswim? I tried editing your code but I don't know what I'm doing. I appreciate ya.
