I have noticed a lot of people want to use only arrows as signals to trade. Some fancy dan arrow studies have shown up. So can anyone identify this "super duper complicated" arrow indicator.

Hello Traders,

I came across this interview on youtube. He is a 36 year veteran Trader Stephen Kalayjian. He claims he makes north of 100k per day based on a signal he gets from his indicators. What type of indicator gives that return? is this moving average, oscillators. Any guesses?

I've watched the video before and he has a team of traders that make the actual trades as he monitors the charts and barks out orders or symbols to watch for entry... Not my style of trading... My head would spin all night and I get little enough sleep as it is... I know his trading system is proprietary and most likely custom coded...

Indeed. I’m interested to know what type of proprietary indicator he uses. Looks profitable

I did watch part of this (it almost became unbearable to watch) and I have several observations

1) It was basically a solicitation for his services
2) Appealing to get rich quick new traders
3) Many claims of profits in the public domain are false or misleading
4) Any claims of performance without certified public verification should not be believed
5) $100K profits, $99K losses each day ??
6) He uses forty? monitors, hard to believe that one guy can watch those all day IMHO
7) I hope he is a talented trader, because his presentation skills are lacking
8) Although I don't know what indicators he uses exactly, they do look like any other oscillator (stochs, RSI, MACD) and are very probably nothing new as a trading strategy

I and many traders here will always support knowledge, skill and experience over trying to get a "simple" way to make a fortune. I am all for a mentor / student relationship, but buyer beware when teaching is the cover for getting paying followers. These indicators are probably interesting but are very likely nothing new. There are more creative indicator, systems, developers and traders here on this board.

I was watching a recent webinar from TopTradeTools on their stoplight strategy and I need help trying to identify one of the indicators they use. They call it TOP Peaks and Troughs indicator, but all they usually do is rename an off the shelf indicator with their own name so I assume this is a generic indicator or at least pretty similar to something off the shelf. It appears to be the relationship between opens, closes, prior up or down close, etc. Any help is appreciated. Here's a couple screenshots from the webby.

@hockeycoachdoug You could look at the TOS Leavitt Studies (LeavittConvolutionSlope, Leavitt Slope, and Leavitt Acceleration Indicators) They can be made to look like that. But then again, so could many other indicators.

Thanks @MerryDay for your input. Those don't seem to be trying to accomplish what they are doing on the webinar. The indicator I am looking for appears to be sort of a trigger to be the entry if the other conditions are met. I think this indicator is measuring opens, closes, and their relationship with the prior bar such as prior bar closes down and in the bottom 25% of the bar and the next bar closes up and in the upper 25% or something along those lines, not a variation on linear regression like the Leavitt studies. I do appreciate your help and input however.
