Issues with scanner?

Hi, is anyone else having issues with their scanner today? I'm trying to scan stocks and options but i just get the thinkorswim "processing" icon and no results.

There can be a few things that stop the scanner from working. Make sure your parameters are realistic. If you attempt in combing to many filters to the scan it may not be able to process it or it will take a long time. Make sure that on the "show:" section of the scanner that you don't have an excessive amount of stocks your scanning for, I like to keep it at 1,000 or less. In some cases scanning in to many stocks will result in a long wait for results and maybe none at all. last but not least make sure to narrow your focus in the "scan in:" section of the scan at the top. That will narrow down the amount of stocks the scanner has to scan in, making it easier to get results back.

If none of this works there is one more option that may help. TOS has an option for Memory Usage. To access it, close the platform, Open the sign in menu and at the bottom left hand corner there will be a gear icon. The gear icon should send you to a settings menu. at the bottom there should be memory usage section. By increasing the minimum and maximum memory usage the platform will run faster and more efficient. Sometimes what happens is that the scanner cannot function because it does not have enough memory usage by default which means that it will take a longer time to get results back.
