I want to plot a 30 level on ADX and DMI. I looked at the logic of other studies that have adjustable levels like the RSI and tried copying that logic into the already existing ADX but it didn't let me edit it. I suppose because it's a trademarked product or something. Anyone know if there's some way to do this?
Nevermind guys figured it out. For anyone who has the same question in the future: copy paste the logic from the ADX, click "Create" to make your own script, paste the logic from the ADX, and add the other things you need. Here's what mine looked like:
So just declare the line with input levelLine = 30;
Then just tell it to plot but don't call it levelLine, it doesn't allow that. Call it something else, I called it "Level".
Edit: Correction. If you input what I did, you can't change the level. It's stuck at 30. So what you need to do (in my example) is delete the plot Level = 30; and instead input this: plot Level = levelLine;
