Just put this in a study. Make sure it is the uppermost one of the studies in the upper panel. Name the study IBS

Here is an image of what you requested when hovering over a bar.

Ruby:
plot Data = (close-low)/(high-low);

Hey @SleepyZ I was wondering how to paint bars that are less that 50 on the IBS scale... basically painting a bull bar that closes below its midpoint and painting a bear bar that closes above its midpoint.... Ill leave the ibs code below. Thanks so much

plot Data = close;def ht = high - low;
def isup = (close > open);
def isdwn = (close < open);
# remove the *100, so will be #s < 1, so won't show up over candles
def hi_per = round((low - close) / ht, 2);
def lo_per = round((close - high) / ht, 2);

plot pct = if isup then hi_per
else if isdwn then lo_per
else min(hi_per, lo_per);
pct.assignvalueColor(
if isup then color.light_green
else if isdwn then color.light_red
else color.white);

input test1 = no;
addchartbubble(test1, low,
pct
, (if isup then color.light_green
else if isdwn then color.light_red
else color.white), no);
