ALWAYS, fine-tune the adjustable input settings of any indicator to better align with your strategy.
For some inputs, unless the adjustment is extreme, you will not always be able to detect a difference.
When testing inputs, put in an extreme high value, view the results.
Put in an extreme low value, view the results.
Then extrapolate toward the middle, until the indicator aligns with your strategy, timeframe, and instrument being traded.
