How to find if order executed

Hi, with AddOrder sell to close and buy to close, how can i find out if that order executed, i just want to know if that executed and use that info for further calculations. Any help will be appreciated, i checked the forum but did not find anything around this. TIA

you can try GetQuantity() or GetOpenPL() or EntryPrice () but not too sure in what context you are looking to use them i., ie; like a live order or for a Strategy. Not sure if those will work for a strategy.

ToS portfolio functions only pertain to live orders.
No, they will not work with AddOder.

How to get in the chart the same price that strategy alert prints on message center when it's triggered. Is there any function for this?

The ToS platform does not provide a function for "if AddOrder executed".
The ToS platform modules are not interactive, the chart module cannot access the alerts in the message center.


The workaround would be to create a label based on the underlying filter that caused the AddOrder to trigger.
For example, if your strategy is to trigger when:

close > open

Then the label would be:

AddLabel(close>open, "order executed with price: " +close, color.blue);
