/ES Futures Trading Strategy on ThinkorSwim

Just in case there's anyone reading this thread and thinking that this is the holy grail of indicators, I am 0 for 10 on my last 10 trades. I do still believe there is huge potential but I am continuing to refine the system to get higher % winners and reduced risk:reward. I'll post again when I have more data.

That's painful but thanks for the information. Very helpful to other users following this strat.

I have tweaked the setup a little bit. I just use 1000tk chart with FE and TTM cloud. TTM cloud helps play consolidation with the help of CCI. Breakout setup when FE nose down and with RSI going up or down aligning with TTM cloud breakout.

Sorry, image uploading was failing. So, i have attached link to the screenshot.

Thanks @Earthian. When you say "RSI Crossover", do you mean that the RSI Languerre crosses the Gamma line? Also, if you are willing to share I would be interested in hearing how you determine stops. I am struggling with this, specifically making the stop wide enough to give the trade room but narrow enough to keep the risk:reward level attractive.

That's correct :) I have circled the plays in the screenshot link i attached. For the consolidation plays you can keep the stops fixed outside the clouds. And for the breakout plays you can trust the BBstop if you have the heart to watch the long move or you can exit at 8 or 9 sma/ema. I hope this helps :)

Also, remember to backtest on your own before taking to this to a live play. It's important to see for yourself when the breakout works and when it doesn't :)

@Earthian Would you be kind enough to share your version of the RSI_Lg indicator, please? I can't seem to find that version amongst the many version around here. Alternatively, you could just share your grid. Many thanks.

Anyone interested in a discord group for people trading ES, MES, NQ and MNQ? Not necessarily for market hours chat (at least not for me) but more for after hours chat. Trading psychology, TA, platforms, brokers, strategy, daily trading goals etc.. general day trading discussion for people focused on ES and NQ.

I am ;) I day Trade NQ

Already done that.............My method has done over 6 figures based off the 1st initial with a few added instruments. But there seemed to be some indecisive additions and then back to the original script. That is my understanding.

Downloaded this strategy and it looks very promising. Took a trade on /MES that went well in the first 30 mins. Although, I lost it on another trade towards the end of the day. Looks like I should stay within first 90 mins from best price action. Thanks to the developer.

Tick chart has less noise than time chart however there is a major drawback in tick chart.
During a high volume period (start and end of the trdae day, espically for less volume symbol), fast tick count lead indicator to over-reacted.
On the other hand, during a low volume period (middle of the trdae day), indicator will under-reacted.
Is there any way I can fix it?
Although it is inconvenient, my only solution is to change low tick count in low volume period.

Nice trade on /RTY this morning. One the 1000 tick top chart, gamma being below 50 and then a green bar signal primes the trigger. 1600 tick bottom chart going pink to blue confirms the signal and entry is taken. Bollinger stops go from red to green on top chart acts as additional confirmation. Exited trade when Demark 9 arrow shows up. Traded this one with options for a 20% gain.

May I ask how you set up the green bar signal "One the 1000 tick top chart, gamma being below 50 and then a green bar signal primes the trigger. "?
