EMA Channel High Low For ThinkOrSwim
This will plot the high and low values for the Exponential Moving Average. I figured i would post it just in case someone needs it in the future.
Ruby:
#EMA CHANNEL
input price = low;
input length = 50;
input displace = 0;
input showBreakoutSignals = no;

plot AvgExp = ExpAverage(price[-displace], length);
plot UpSignal = price crosses above AvgExp;
plot DownSignal = price crosses below AvgExp;

input price2 = high;
input length2 = 50;
input displace2 = 0;
input showBreakoutSignals2 = no;

plot AvgExp2 = ExpAverage(price2[-displace2], length2);
plot UpSignal2 = price2 crosses above AvgExp2;
plot DownSignal2 = price2 crosses below AvgExp2;

Adding an add bubble would make this really great that way the upsignals price will shown on the graph and assigning colors to them green representing the bullish and red representing the bearish. Overall great work and thank you for sharing!!

This looks great.
How can we add color (shade) in the EMA channel (between AvgExp and AvgExp2)?
Thanks a lot!

plot AvgExp = ExpAverage(price[-displace], length);
Code:
#EMA CHANNEL
input price = low;
input length = 50;
input displace = 0;
input showBreakoutSignals = no;

plot AvgExp = ExpAverage(price[-displace], length);

How can I make this please in a Scan?

Funny thing is, when Price is trading below it's 8 Bar EMA of the lows, it always jumps to a higher price afterwards.

Is it so strange - does it make sense? Backtested many daily charts & it has always happened this way, it will jump higher after it.

According to the book "Step by Step Trading".

it sounds too lucrative to be true.
