Is it possible to 'skip' or 'ignore' a candle based on the spread of the open and close or even the low, open, close, and high? For example if the code is something like:
def buy = close[1] > close[2]
and the close[2] is a candle with a doji or almost doji(very little change between open and close) can it be ignored/skipped? Thank you.
I tried adding it like this but doesn't seem to be working...
close[3] <> isdoji() and close[2] <> isdoji() and close[1] <> isdoji()
I'm sure I'm missing something obvious. Thanks for any help.
