80% of the Indicators on the Forum are trending indicators so your description does not narrow it down :(

Not exactly a trending indicator but it assists you in reading charts and identifies the phases of the market cycle. Try combining with a trending oscillator, such as RSI or MACD, plus a volume signal, and a support & resistance, it gives you the beginnings of a nice chart analysis.
