I am not VIP member yet, however, thinking about subscribing to your discord and obtaining the "buy the dip" indicator. I just wanted to check something before I subscribe to VIP, would you be able to post an example of 1min chart for TSLA, Apple, ZM or whatever else stock you see fit (not penny stocks plz since I am not that educated to trade small caps yet). I wanted to see if Buy the Dip works for day trading as well as swing.

Edit: This thread has gotten very long. Added some info below for easier access to information.

Switched to the longer timeframe @BenTen advocated. I picked up a lot of good trades last week.

1. Facebook (FB) @ 262 --- Sold for 285
2. Apple (AAPL) @ 108 --- Sold for 114
3. AutoZone (AZO) @ 1116 --- Sold for 1175
4. Advanced Micro (AMD) @ 74.65 --- Sold for 81.16

My setup:

Entry coincide with the clouds (credit @FateOwnzYou: https://usethinkscript.com/threads/btd-clouds.4167/). Exit based on my profit rate or based on the Take Profit clouds.

Sold 70% of all swing holdings today for nice profit. Buy the dip!!!!!! Back to work.
Нi!
Can you share in more details what logic you are guided by making decisions?

Again, because I only visit this site once a week or so these reponses will always be delayed.

@MintyFresh : Thanks for sharing about this BTD chart. I am exactly looking the same. few things need to know by looking into this chart:
1) Where is the entry and exit points ( is start of green and end of green clouds are for entry and exit ?? )
2) Do I need any other indicators along with this one ?? or this alone is enough for intraday trading like /MNQ or /MES.

KIndly advise.

Thanks

1) the entry points for longs (exit for shorts) for the cloud version of the BTD indicator will be when price action is within the green cloud. The exit points for longs (entry for shorts) would be when price action is within the red cloud.

2) I do not trade futures, but I'm sure BTD can be used for NQ and ES -- maybe vanilla or with a little tweaking, but always alongside of other indicators. The scalping strategy that I am comfortable with currently use BTD along with TTM Squeeze, RSI, MACD/TTM_Wave, and various SMA/EMAs/aVWAP.

With all of this said, you shouldn't ever rely on a single indicator -- know your ticker(s) and build a case with other indicators and all availiable information that are aligned with your strategy.

@MintyFresh Hi, just wanted to ask what the cloud indicator is. Are you allowed to share it or is it a paid indicator from another site?
As mentioned by BenTen, the indicator is a paid indicator that is available as part of the VIP package on here.

Hello I’m planning on using the indicator to daytrade the es. Do I need to tweak the settings such as the length to trade intraday? The charts I normally use for entry are 618 tick, 3 minute, 5 minute. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

@nightowl Would be hard for me to suggest when I don't really day trade. Hopefully, some of the comments shared in this thread by our existing members can help.

@BenTen: Before, I love our portal since I have been using the past a few months now.

I appreciate your reply before I decide to join VIP membership:

1) does your all/any paid indicators work for the below situation? I mainly do future trading using MNQ and MES tickers.
2) does your buy the deep indicators work for all the time frames? 1m, 5m, 15 mins...etc. I want to make sure that I do see the exact BUY and SELL entry clearly. also, let me know in case if I need to use any other indicator to reconfirm the entry/exit. if so, let me know the name of that indicator with exact parameters settings.

Thanks

Sincerely,

@chIza=iChis1A?H You can look at the following comments:
The only thing that I use in addition to BTD is my own support/resistance levels. If you look at all the old messages from our existing members, they all use different indicators to reconfirm their entry/exit. Everyone trade differently. You should identify and find what works for you.

So far my experience with this indicator using the aggressive version using it on 1m,5m,10m on the es is pretty good. the 1 minute and 5 min BTD usually signals a low by touching the zero line but you can expect another low in price after the initial touch of the zero line on BTD. from my experience rsi works the same way it breaches the 70 or 80 band and comes up and makes another low while making divergence in the indicator. same concept for the buy the dip indicator in those small time frames. so my conclusion is if you're trading /ES with a tight stop its best to wait for the next low in price after the initial touch of the zero line using the smaller time frames on btd to buy.

The main issue is Buy and Sell arrow appearing after delay but by the time few candles moved on so hard to take decision due to such delay. any idea on how to fix this timing issue ??
Thanks
