I was just giving feedback, not suggesting that anything be removed. I can see where BOP may be useful in a scan on higher timeframes, but when it comes to BOP as a potential entry signal, I don't find it very reliable. Others with different trading styles may disagree.

All that aside, you've done a great job on this indicator and I appreciate your hard work!

Got it to work by using pasting script directly from post 506 into the thinkscript editor (pic 2)..

quick question, since it doesn't work in condition wizard (pic 1), what part of script do I change to get sell siganls (-1.0) compared to buy signals (+1.0) ??

Speaking of strategies, I just noticed something on my most recent trade. If I had entered when the MACD_BB dots turned red below the lower band, I probably would have gotten stopped out. Same thing if I had entered when the simultaneous FibSupertrend and RSI_IFT signals printed. Fortunately, I entered when the MACD_BB dots hit the zero line.

One thing that may bear closer scrutiny is how well the signals perform when the MACD_BB is on the flip side of the zero line (i.e., above the zero line for shorts and below the zero line for longs). Has anyone been looking at that while evaluating the strategy signals?

Anyhow, once again I appreciate the hard work done by those of you with the skills to code and shape this indicator.

Multiple time frame super trend lower study, Balance of power setting for vertical lines, and macd switching from green to red or red to green all on the 5min chart. If all these 3 lineup it has not failed me yet, insane.

Like always thank you for your post this is great stuff! And honestly what I have witnessed to be an even greater indication for a reverse is the flip in the macd itself, I haven't got much use of the zero line in terms of which side the MACD_BB is on but maybe because I use a lower time frame.

@barbaros @Chuck Just trying to make this amazing indicator even better what about adding some momentum what if we somehow incorporate spikes in Volume or spikes in Volume * Price basically we want the 3 strategies to line up with a buy signal but also add that if the current bar volume is >= the last 10 bar volumes. This will catch all of your momentum stocks and allows you to weed out the false signals especially on the lower time frames. a Perfect example of this today was STPK stock at 10:35 AM 5 min chart.

We tried a version with volume and it did not work on indices. I might release an add-on in the near future like I did with the ADX. I have to experiment and do some more testing with it. Keep on the lookout for something, we have several request and we are trying diligently to keep up with everything. A lot of attention is starting to be placed on this trend due to the success some of the traders are having incorporating this indicator into their strategies.

Also in terms of the Multiple time frame super trend, whenever the stars have aligned with the BB Breakout, whatever color the 60min red or green I've noticed it shows a greater move in favor of the color itself. So for example in many cases expect larger shorts than longs when 60min is red and expect larger longs than shorts when the 60min is green.


Obviously this is not always the case but it might be a cool way to decide to get out early or hold on to a position you're in.
