CONFLUENCE for a trader is where two, or more, factors (indicators) come together suggesting a change, and maybe the strength, of multiple factors.

THIS IS A NEW TRADING CHART THAT ADDS CONFLUENCE “FOR THE FOLLOWING FACTORS” WHERE THE CO-PILOT (UPPER RIGHT LABELS) GIVE ALL THE THE INFORMATION NEEDED FOR SAFELY FLYING (TRADING) AND TELLS HOW MANY OF THE FOLLOWING FACTORS ARE IN CONFLUENCE. THE FOUR FACTORS ARE:
1 — MFI above/below 50 Is momentum bullish or bearish
2 — Flow histogram direction Is net money flow positive or negative
3 — Short term price momentum Is price higher/lower than 3 AND 5 bars ago
4 — EMA ribbon alignment Are all three EMAs stacked in order
SO, WHAT IS THE CO-PILOTS TASK?
· A co-pilot doesn't fly the plane — you do
· A co-pilot monitors the instruments — it does
· A co-pilot calls out warnings — the alerts do
· A co-pilot confirms before major decisions — the (2)(3)(4) count
· A co-pilot never overrides the pilot — you always make the final call
The UPPER RIGHT LABELS: (Two including the Security Label which is the chart (Stock, ETF, you are viewing)
•The BUY/SELL LABEL shows Light Red/Green (1) for a single factor in place indicating a change-in-direction.
•It will strengthen into SOLID RED/GREEN (2) (3) (4) as the move strengthens and conversely will begin to reverse in strength as the move weakens.
•YELLOW means the Security on your chart is Choppy with no clear direction.
•RED/GREEN on the SECURITY LABEL signifies the direction overall.
###NOTE: MY SHORT/LONG BUBBLES AND GREEN/RED HISTOGRAM is also in place but are not part of the UPPER INTERNAL LABELS. My Bubbles and Histogram are potential repaint indicators and the UPPER RIGHT LABELS will inevitably confirm if the Bubbles/Histogram are showing correct trends.
