Quick question on dynamic chart labels.

How do i make a chart label dynamic with 4 color options

right now i have 2 colors id like to make it for

AddLabel(yes, "RVOL : " + RVOL, ( if RVOL < 2 then Color.LIGHT_RED else if RVOL >= 2 then Color.LIGHT_GREEN else color.white));

Id like to make it Dark red if < 1, Light red id <2, light green if >2, dark green is >5

Solution
This should do it. You can put all of this on one line if you like, but I broke it out into multiple lines so you can see how it's working.

The key is the order you do this in. You have to evaluate the extreme cases first, then work towards zero. If you evaluate "<2", for example, it will stop there and not check if it's "<1" first. Same for the opposite side. You have to check ">5" first, because if you check ">2" for a value of 7 it's going to register true and stop and it will never evaluate the ">5" option.

You should also consider making one of the "2" values either ">=" or "<=" in case the value is exactly 2.00.

Ruby:
AddLabel(
    yes,
    "RVOL : " + RVOL,
     if RVOL < 1 then Color.LIGHT_RED
     else if RVOL < 2 then...

if you use the same symbol, < , for all the comparisons, then use numbers that go from small to big, the code is easier to follow.
