i log in today and it says windows 11 is required for a TOS install ?
TOS still works
i use windows 10
im one of those guys that never updates the OS.

today TOS won't run, so i might have to upgrade windows.
or it might be time to buy a new computer... as my lenovo laptop i7 keyboard has been bulging up 1/4" for several months .....

i don't know when i will have a working TOS again, or posting on here.
only good thing is i make text copies of everything

The disclaimer is a legal necessity for Schwab after Microsoft announced Win10 was no longer being supported.
It is unlikely, that ToS will stop running on Windows10 in the near future, given that Schwab only stopped ToS support of Windows 7 and prior; this year.

That said, I am using it as the final push for me to upgrade to a true dual GPU workstation.
I have been trading on a jury-rigged two rig system to run all my displays and ToS instances; which I am constantly band aiding.

I purchased my Lifetime Activation Key from Groupon and downloaded an official Windows 11 OS directly from Microsoft:

I am mainly a Linux user, but TOS stopped supporting Linux which forced me to install and dual boot Windows.

I purchased my Lifetime Activation Key from Groupon and downloaded an official Windows 11 OS directly from Microsoft:

it runs on Linux, they just wont offer support anymore so you are on your own in getting it to operate correctly.

please be careful, a defective battery is no joke, it sounds like most likely your laptop battery is possibly expanding and pushing up the keyboard, be aware that if your battery (most likely lithium-ion or lithium‑polymer variant) is indeed expanding it is considered a huge safety and fire hazard risk. I would highly recommend to get it looked at immediately or as soon as possible. Be aware that's why when mailing batteries and equipment with batteries it is taken very very seriously by the carrier.

No, if your PC can't upgrade to Windows 11 then it won't be able to upgrade to Pro either... There are ways around the issue if your CPU isn't extremely old... Google " rufus windows 11" to see how you can use Rufus to create a USB flash drive that will bypass several pre-install checks... I have several systems running Windows 11 even though they don't pass Microsoft's specifications... Be advised that you may be required to wipe the drive clean and start with a fresh install so backup, backup, backup...
