watchlist duplicate tickers

HI Guys,

Is there a way to sort the watchlist if the tickers in it are already exist in another watchlist?

I do daily scan and some tickers i save on another watchlist will apear and i cant know how many duplicates are in the new watchlist unless i go through them one by one.

In TC2000 you can flag the ticker, but TOS you can only mark it in the watchlist and it does not carry over to aother watchlist, so it is pretty much point less.

I regularly do 8 scans every day and with different criteria there some tickers just appear in multiple scans.
I know i can exclude 1 watchlist, but i have 8 scans and multiple existing watchlist, is there a way to exclude more than 1 watchlist?

is there any way to eliminate duplicated tickers?

There is not a setting/option that provides an easy or direct method of doing this. Can it be done? Probably. But, it depends on a lot of different things, depending on how the scans are structured, especially with the number of scans you're running. How common is the problem, and are there perhaps two scans which tend to be more problematic than the others?

You do it the same way that was explained to you above.
You write scan A and exclude your 1st watchlist. You write scan B and exclude scan A, you write scan C and exclude scan B.
There is no limit to the # of scans or exclusions.

Thanks for reply, it should works in theory but in reality the few tickers from scan A were hided in scan B, will appear in scan C.
my scans have 70 percent common criteria and 30 percent variables, so there always would be some tickers meet the both criteria.
