I had a call with them to discuss. It did not end well. I requested a spreadsheet of trades to back up a graph he presented with outstanding returns. He mumbled a bit but said he would try to find it for me. I asked him the last names of the main guys in their live room. He said he didn't know their last names. The refund policy on the website was different than he stated. He offered to send me an email with the complete refund offer as he had stated. I had responded to an ad saying they would send free alerts for a limited time. When I asked about the free alerts, he said they are marketing alerts and sent out hours late because it wasn't fair to premium customers but stated some people still made money on them. If that's what you are promising as free alerts then it should be made clear that they are sent hours late before people invest their money. To me that is misleading.
I subscribed to Portfolio Insider last year and they went dark one day out of nowhere. I immediately requested a refund and contacted my state securities board. I did receive a refund but my state was looking for the people behind Portfolio Insider who had connections with yet another scam. I saw on Reddit where Trade Algo may be connected with Portfolio Insider so I questioned the salesman from Trade Algo about it. He became quite irritated and kept talking over me so I took that as I struck too close to a nerve and hung up.
