ToS Platform 'Glitch'

Using the Schwab ToS Platform I placed a buy order with stop loss trigger on /M2KM24 and immediately was stopped out at same time and price:

Active Trader said I still had a position (a phantom order) with NO stop loss.
Placed a manual stop loss to close trade (the 3rd trade at 07:39:17) and it was triggered but I was back in the trade with a position I didn't want.
Had to Flatten position to end the madness.

Called Client Services about the issue which got escalated up the chain and eventually the whole fiasco was cancelled.

Lesson: watch your trades/positions closely until the 'glitches' have been ironed out.

had something similar happen to me few years back, lost around $2k because of the phantom orders glitch. i think it was about $200 in free trades they offered as compensation because TD Ameritrade wouldn't reimburse my losses. $200 in free trades vs $2000 loss was like them spitting in my face i had felt. needless to say i moved my money out of TD however then a few years later i came back and thew a few thousand back in, i dont think i can trust them with large amounts like i had with them before the incident/glitch, i just keep the money in there to keep them happy so they see its active since i mainly use TOS for charting and have too many custom studies and scans.

Same happened to me.
They blamed it on Market Makers. The rep said he would send it up the chain an get back with me. been at least two weeks.

good luck, after hours of debate and logical explanations, i finally had the rep admit it was a glitch on their behalf by practically breaking down any counter accountability they attempted to throw at me. Still was of no use since they never reimbursed me due to "company policies". This however that was with TD Ameritrade and it was years ago. Good to know that this problem still exists as it further confirms that i should not have large amounts of money traded on the platform with the company. So far from what ive seen and heard its always the glitches seem to happen on the ToS platform, im not sure if people experience similar phantom orders AND POSITIONS on the website.
