TOS Desktop Application won't start

I've been a TOS user for a number of years. This morning, I clicked on my TOS desktop application to play around with some of the new code I saw from this forum. While TOS was starting up, my computer got the equivalent of a blue screen and shut down. After re-starting it, I tried to start TOS. I clicked on the icon, the cursor spun (chasing circle) for maybe 1 - 2 seconds, then nothing happened. I waited a few minutes, and tried it again. Still nothing. I checked Task Manager, and it showed two sessions of ThinkorSwim Application running, but they were using no resources.

I've tried shutting down and restarting, with no success. When I called Schwab, they suggested I uninstall and re-install the application. I'm afraid if I do that, I will lose all of my customization.

If you have TOS on multiple computers, do the changes you make on one computer port over to the other? I want to find a way to save everything I've done so far (watchlists, grids, custom indicators). I'm hoping I don't have to start over.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

@PocohoMike You can safely uninstall and reinstall TOS without losing anything, but it might be worthwhile to make a copy of your workspaces in your root installation directory... You can find the path by Right-Clicking on your TOS icon and selecting Properties and Clicking on Open file location... Workspaces have the word "workspace" in their filenames... Everything else is saved on the Schwab servers... If you don't have a customized workspace then there is nothing to save... I've reinstalled multiple times on multiple computers without issue...

@rad14733 Are the workspace files or folders? I found these listed in the target.

It seems like when I changed computers, I tried exporting a file and re-loading it, but it didn't bring all of my grids and indicators with it.

I also found a folder labeled "backup" that has a lot of folders in it. What are they?
