The code for a range of bars in Offset.

Hi There, Thanks for looking at my post! I'm looking for a way to include a range of bars in the offset box when creating a custom filter. Lets say anywhere from 5-10 bars.

What I want to avoid is a situation like this:

This is not a great solution because if you have more than 10 entries, the think script editor creates an error.

Something like this in the full editor might help in a general purpose sense. But, this specific ADX thing appears to be zero based, at least on first glance. So its not going to yield any results.

Ruby:
Plot Scan = Highest(ADX(),10) < 0;

Thanks Joshua. I just used ADX as an example. I'm more interested in the actual code for a range of bars. Can I just type "from 5-10 bars ago is less than 0"?

I am not familiar with the code in those worded formats, but I have doubts that this specific expression is valid. It is possible to do though, but not right now, I'm about to head out. Maybe later, if nobody else has helped you by then.

Maybe I can explain it better using an example. Lets say I wanted to find stocks that met this condition: the RSI is below 0 for the previous five or more bars and then pops up over 0 on the most current bar. How would one code that?
