Looking for scanner to show me when "K" period, cross either over or under "D" period.

I would like the option to be able to determine each k or d period so I can play around with results as necessary.

Id prefer if I could do and over and under scanner separate from one another so that I am not alerted blindly there was just a cross but instead I will know exactly which one did what.

Thank you

@dmaffo easy peasy --- here is the scanner setup. Set up the crosses above and crosses below scanners separately.

Adjust the periods to your needs. HTH

It's your logic. I just wrote the syntax. Perhaps load the SlowStochastic as a lower indicator so you can see what you are attempting to do?
If you have additional questions, you could post an image and explain what is and what is not working for you?

https://tlc.thinkorswim.com/center/...t=To add an alert:,scan query to be monitored.

Scan results are dynamically updated. If you would like to be notified of changes in the results, consider adding an alert on the changes. To add an alert:
  • Click on the Show actions menu button and select Alert when scan results change…
  • In the dialog window, specify which events you prefer to be notified of (e.g., when there is a new symbol that matches the criteria or a symbol that no longer matches them) and the scan query to be monitored.
  • Specify the frequency options: whether you would like the system to notify you of every change in the results or send you a list of changes on an hourly, daily, or weekly basis.
  • Click Create. The alert will be added to your Alert book.

@dmaffo The middle column is incorrect. Refer back to comment #2 posted by @MerryDay.

@dmaffo and to get alerts, click on the 3-line 'hamburger button

As a way of giving back to the community, would you share how you use the SlowStochastic as part of your strategy? Stochastic is by far my favorite indicator. I use the IronRod mostly. I would enjoy learning what you are doing.

Sure love to. I have tried testing the stochastic by itself and have lost $. But have noticed that if paired perhaps by MACD or RSi as confirmation it yields more favorable results.
Currently testing Year out Day, 4 hour, then intra 20 15 5 min etc.
Sometimes changing default settings these things tend to give better results. When I have something nailed I will gladly post.

BUt for now testing crossover on 15 min chart. Still glitchy and testing off hours is not as good like in live market when all emotions bell rings etc are going on.

Now that this one is sort of working I need the RSI one to do same. That one is being difficult.
