May you please explain what you mean by that, "scripts time out?"
You also later mentioned, "Most studies are formatted to be used on charts. To optimize an existing script for use in conditional orders, scans, and chart alerts, all formatting statements need to be removed, along with any other coding not directly related to creating the signal." Do you have any examples of acceptable and unacceptable scripts for conditional orders that I would please be able to reference to learn more about this?
