I have just started using TOS and have been reading a lot and watching videos. One video says, add filter and select study. When I do that I get a message saying I am not authorized. I am logged into paper money, but if I switch to my live account then I can select study. If I create the study in my live account, will I be able to load the study in my paper money account?
Being new I want to use paper money until I learn more and start to develop some skills.

That's a question for support. It could be due to some sort of limitations within TOS or with your account.

Open a live chat ticket directly inside TOS, and they should be able to help you look into it.

@gstq54 Studies in LiveTrading are NOT automatically available to the PaperTrading side of TOS, they must either be Shared and then loaded into PaperTrading or Copied over in one of several methods... The Study can be Exported from LiveTrading and then Imported into PaperTrading, or Copied to your Clipboard in Live Trading and Pasted into a new Study in PaperTrading...

I have never seen a "Not Authorized" message... Did you receive this message trying to add a Study to a Chart, or elsewhere...??? A screenshot of your TOS screen with the error message displayed would be helpful...
