Percent change in specific time frame

Hello,
quick question, is there a way to check how much a stock has moved up or down between given time frame?
like let’s say I want to figure out how much TSLA has moved from 10/25 to 11/7, rather Than doing a manual calculation?

thank you,

Solution
you could do something along these lines:
Code:
declare upper;
input lookback_days = 14;
def p0  = close(period = AggregationPeriod.DAY)[lookback_days];
def p1 = CLOSE;
def percent_change = (p0 - p1) / p1;
addLabel(yes, "% change over " + lookback_days + " days:" + percent_change * 100);

Or something along those lines. :)

What is CLOSE in this situation?
Is this today's CLOSE?

p0 is the day close, however many lookback days ago you set.
p1 is the close of the most recent bar in whatever timeframe your chart is in. So if you're looking at a 5m chart, it's the last 5m bar that closed. If you're looking at the 1h chart, it's the close at the last hour, and so on.

Not a programmatic solution, but you can use the “trend line” drawing tool and all the calculations come up between two points WHILE the tool is being used. Scott
