scanners based around Elliott wave

Is there a scan primer? A list of code prompts for various types of scanning functions? I’m just starting to get interested in programming and have a real interest in developing scanners based around Elliott wave and the ab=cd patterns, wave 3, etc.

In terms of scanning functions, TOS does not have many external functions that can be added to think script scans aside from all of their default scan options. I believe there is only the plot signal function or the plot scan function, but if you want to look at all TOS functionalities you can go to the Education tab at the of the TOS platform, click learning center and it should bring you all of there coding language options. If you find interest in Elliott waves, the ab=cd patterns, and wave 3 you should know that TOS has a pattern identifier that can identify these patterns. Click on the chart tab in the TOS platform, pull up a random chart, then on the top right-hand side on the blue bar there should be a Patterns option. Click on...

Click on it, click on select patterns, and then click on Fibonacci. There will be options of ABCD patterns, 3 drives, etc. Double click on the ones you wish to add, click apply then ok, and don't forget to check off the box that says "show patterns" on the Patterns tab. After you have completed these steps you should be able to see the added patterns on your charts. Please note that these patterns can only be displayed from the 15 minute time frame and above. My last advice would be to look into the Zigzag indicators the platform has to offer. You can change the default values to match the patterns of the Elliot waves you seek but note that most zigzag patterns are repainting indicators and have to be implemented into a scan differently but don't worry there are many great threads you can find on here about all of this information. I will leave a link of photo steps to the instructions I have given down below. I hope this was of value to you.
