I am new to ToS, having moved from Schwab trading platforms recently. I find managing my option portfolio difficult, including option spreads and stocks, especially to keep them grouped "as-traded" and not mixed up with other trades. My vertical spreads are often mixed with stocks I have, and single option trades get blended with stocks as covered calls. Here are two things I am having difficult time trying to do, and any help would be great:
1. When I go to my portfolio, I want to see everything as-traded, not as interpreted by ToS. I want to keep my trades together and trade them together. I want to see P/L for the traded options combined.
2. When I try to trade a spread, I want to see my P/L for that trade without having to calculate the cost of the individual legs, and the gain/loss of individual legs and calculate the total gain/loss $ and % in my head.
Surely there must be a way to do this? It used to be there in Schwab Streetsmart Edge, although it was less configurable and sophisticated for many other things.
