Hi guys,
I’ve been reading some trading books and happened to come across an idea where this one particular trader scans for the strongest 2% of stocks in the market for different times frames ( I.e. 1 month, 3 month, 6 month, 12 months, and 18 months). He has found that the strongest stocks tend to be the ones that make the same predictable patterns over and over and has led to his success.
He also tends to look for the stocks that have the highest ADR (2% cutoff) for those different time frames.
I’m pretty good with the charting on TOS, but am a newb when it comes to the scanning component. I’m trying to wrap my head around this but have not been successful. How would I go about putting in those parameters in the scan?
Please and thanks!!
