Custom Aggregation Periods For ThinkOrSwim

Hi,

I know the aggregation periods are preset as in the link below or in TOS. Does anyone know how to code and add more aggregations than the presets like SIX_MIN, SEVEN_MIN, EIGHT_MIN ...etc? TIA

You can't. Not directly at least. The aggregation period constants contain values, which are the number of milliseconds in the aggregation, but nothing happens if you enter a custom number of milliseconds. Custom values are treated as invalid. You could, however, you drop down to a one minute chart, and do something more reminiscent of multi-timeframe candle sticks, or complex folding operations. This is assuming you're trying to reference an irregular secondary aggregation via scripting.

@Joshua provided an excellent answer where scripting is concerned.
For the scan hacker, watchlists, conditional orders, and other condition wizards, the ToS platform provides ONLY the pre-set aggregations shown in your link.

For charting, you can use the slider and customize to any timeframe.
