I'm a heavy user of TOS alerts, my way is a little complex, because I use TOS alerts for swingtrading in combination with triggerd intraday momentum as entry condition.
My process:
1. I go to messages/alerts than export it to file
2. I open this file in excel, than select Tab A switch to option data => "text in columns" tab and separate the symbols (from the other columns) and copy the symbols
3. open watchlist in TOS => import the symbols that I copied from excel => I have the generated a "alerts" watchlist in TOS
I get many alerts over the trading session(day) and repeat this process again i.e. for midday and afternoon trading hours. Much better was a function in TOS that all alerts from actual trading session create as a special watchlist for each day, every new alert should in this list...but I don't find a solution
Therefore my question: does anyone a hack for automate create "alert watchlist" because I see many other TOS generated list like
"Gap up/down" "analyst down /upgrade" "premarket mover" and so on... why it's not possible to have a custom alert watchlist...?
