Anybody know how to create a bar counter on ToS? I want something that I can count from a specific bar to another specific bar.

Volume percent change from previous bar as label and chart bubble
Code:
declare lower;
#volume percent change from previous bar as label and chart bubble
#By XeoNoX via request via usethinkscript.com
input show_label = yes;
plot vol=  volume;
vol.SetPaintingStrategy( PaintingStrategy.HISTOGRAM );
def volchange = ((volume-volume[1])/volume[1])*100;
AddChartBubble(volchange, volume, round(volchange,2) +"%");
AddLabel (show_label, "Vol Change" +  round(volchange,2) + "%"  );
Thanks! Do you know a way to make positive increases green instead of red? Negative being red is great, but if there's a way to change the positive increases to green that would be awesome.

volume percent change from previous bar as label and chart bubble Version 2.0 (added label/bubble color changing)
Code:
declare lower;
#volume percent change from previous bar as label and chart bubble
#version 2.0 (added label/bubble color changing)
#By XeoNoX via request via usethinkscript.com
input show_label = yes;
plot vol=  volume;
vol.SetPaintingStrategy( PaintingStrategy.HISTOGRAM );
def volchange = ((volume-volume[1])/volume[1])*100;
AddChartBubble(volchange, volume, round(volchange,2) +"%" , if volchange < 0  then color.dark_red else color.green);
AddLabel (show_label, "Vol Change" +  round(volchange,2) + "%", if volchange < 0 then color.dark_red else color.green );

Thanks, it works great! I changed the color to light red, the dark red didn't contrast well with the black font. This really helps with my volume/price action models. $1600 in 24 hours, so not bad!

One more question on this. Is there a way to make the volume bars still match the colors of the normal volume bars so you can overlay them instead of all the bars being that magenta color? It works great for showing me what I want, but it would be even better with the positive bars being green and the negative being red.

add the following code to set your color according to if the closing price is above or below or equal to the opening price

Code:
Vol.DefineColor("Above", GetColor(0));
Vol.DefineColor("Below", GetColor(2));
Vol.DefineColor("Equal", GetColor(3));
Vol.AssignValueColor(if close > open  then Vol.Color("Above") else if close < open then Vol.Color("Below") else Vol.Color("Equal"));
