I have code that caters to starting AVWAP at a specific time, e.g., start of session 9.30am, and other times that it makes sense.
I day trade on a 1 minute chart and have used my script successfully when the symbol is a stock or ETF, but when I change to a futures' symbol, e.g., /MNQM26, the AVWAP doesn't start at the set time but always at the left side of the chart, i.e., 6pm yesterday. It also doesn't work correctly if I select the continuous contract, e.g., /MNQ
Before asking for help on the script, is there any system reason that the code won't work for futures? I can't think of one as the charts look no different in principle.
